Beach Hop 2023

What a fabulous week of sunshine, cars, comedy, music and great people to meet at this year’s REPCO Beach Hop. The FPS team loves sponsoring this event, a firm favourite on our calendar.

Established in 2000. REPCO Beach Hop has brought hundreds of thousands of New Zealanders together for an annual rock and roll festival every year since and FPS has been a sponsor for the last 10! It’s New Zealand’s number 1 nostalgia festival, celebrating the best of the 50s & 60s. This year, it featured an Elvis tribute competition, King of the Hop, for the first time.

The event spans 5 days. Starting off this year on Wednesday in Waihi, then revving up for the REPCO Power Cruise around the Coromandel on Thursday, before moving on to Onemana on Friday and Whangamata over the weekend.

One of the highlights is the Famous Pacific Shipping Classic Comedy night. This year it featured Ben Hurley, Dai Henwood, Michele A’Court OMNZ and  Brendhan Lovegrove.

Our team spent time chatting with customers and folks interested in shipping a vehicle to New Zealand. There is so much to discover for first-timers and even if you’ve imported several vehicles and parts, each shipment has different requirements.

We ship from the West coast of the US to NZ but can also organise overland transport to the ports from most US locations. The UK and Australia are also popular countries of origin for our customers. We have long-term relationships with local agents who take care of all the details from their side.
