Terms & Conditions

The prize draw is open to Beach Hop attendees entering via this website between 20 -24 March 2024. Entries received outside of these dates will not be included in the draw.

The winner will be drawn at random and sent a voucher to their nominated email address on 25 March 2024. The winner’s name will also be announced on our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/famousnz.

The voucher entitles the recipient to choose between driving a Repco Ford Mustang or a Chevrolet Camaro for 7 laps of the 1.2km Hampton Downs Club Circuit. A professional driver will guide you from the passenger seat, providing tuition and showing you the ‘racing line’. He will then assist you in increasing your speed and enjoying your adrenaline-filled fun.

Hampton Downs has the following restrictions for your safety. To enter the draw, you must meet all Hampton Down’s safety criteria and comply with the Terms below.

You must hold a current restricted driver’s licence or higher (bring your licence with you on the day)
Driver must be aged 16 years or over
Minimum height: 150cm, maximum height: 195cm, maximum weight: 115kg
Zero tolerance to alcohol for all self-drive experiences
Not suitable for pregnant women or those suffering from a heart condition
You must have a credit/debit card for a $2,000 security bond, for any damages caused through negligent or inappropriate use of the vehicle. All funds will be released after the experience is finished if no damage has been caused to the vehicle
Due to the nature of this experience, verbal proficiency in English is essential

The voucher is not transferable or redeemable for cash. The winner is responsible for arranging and paying for all costs associated with the prize not included in the voucher. FPS may replace the prize with another of equivalent or greater value if the prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside our reasonable control. FPS makes no warranties about the prize (including its quality or fitness for purpose).
Number of entries: You may only enter the draw once.
Winner: Unless otherwise specified, the winner(s) of the prize will be drawn randomly from one prize pool comprising all valid entries on 25 March 2024.
Entries: By entering the prize draw, you agree to join the FPS NZ mailing list to receive occasional relevant marketing communications. In addition, FPS NZ may use your name and any photographs supplied for promotional purposes without compensation.
Privacy: FPS NZ may collect and use personal information about you (including your name, contact details, and any other personal information you provide in connection with your entry) to administer the prize draw, verify the validity of entries, contact the winner and market the services of FPS to you. As certain information is required for us to run the draw effectively, if you do not provide accurate information where we request, you may be disqualified. FPS will collect, use and hold your information under our legal obligations, including under the Privacy Act 2020.
Liability: Subject to any applicable law that cannot be excluded, FPS and its employees and agents will not be liable for any loss or damage (whether in contract, tort (including negligence), under statute, equity or otherwise in connection with the prize draw or the prize). Without limiting the previous sentence, FPS NZ is not responsible for any technical malfunction, delay or loss of data during the administration of the prize draw, however caused.
General: FPS NZ’s decisions regarding the prize draw are final and no correspondence will be entered into. We may change these Terms at any time. If FPS cannot reasonably run the prize draw as planned for any reason, FPS may cancel this prize draw.
